Waldorf Spring Concert 2020 Collage:
"Bats, Zombies and Bones! Oh MY!!"
YOU WILL NEED 2 DEVICES AND EARBUDS OR HEADPHONES
-
device #1 (phone) will be used to film your performance in one take
-
device #2 will play a backing audio track in your ear to align your performance (phone or tablet)
In general, phone cameras are way better than iPad or tablet cameras.

Step #1 DOWNLOAD & PRACTICE
-
Download your individual part's audio track. (All tracks are available on Google Classroom under ' Spring Concert Video Collage")
-
Practice as much as you can with the audio track to become familiar with the tempo and everything else.
-
You do NOT have to be perfect. Just do your best and smile! (in the videos below, I messed up several times, but I kept going)
-
If you can only contribute one musical piece great! Two? Wonderful! All the pieces we've worked on? You're a Rock Star!!!

Step #2 FILM YOURSELF
-
Each musical piece should be recorded separately
-
Record the easiest piece first and upload that ASAP! (Batman, Carousel, etc..)
-
Concert Dress: solid colored top, dark bottoms. Combed hair, no chocolate on your face, please.
-
PLEASE TUNE (A=440hz) iPhone and Android Tuning apps are available
-
"Portrait Mode" (vertical) with Device #1.
-
Fill the shot with you and your instrument if possible (not your ceiling) Violins & Violas, standing, waist up view.
-
Try to find a quiet space and one that is well lit. (Sitting facing a window is often better than trying to use artificial light)
-
Listen to the audio and follow the instruction on it.
-
Smile and do your best.
-
GO! Repeat as necessary. ;)
